The Requirements
To be a good fit for the Senior Territory Inside Sales Representative opportunity, you will have:- A bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience in Inside Sales or Account Management.
- Deep understanding of sales theories and methods.
- Outstanding communications skills, both oral and written, including strong phone skills and willingness to make some cold calls.
- Team building skills, with the ability to work well within a team.
- Technical savvy including MS Office Suite, Goldmine (or similar) and knowledge of Internet/email/database marketing technologies.
- Experience in the interactive automotive space is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of automotive dealership operations is a plus.

Your Role
Reporting directly to our VP, Dealer Sales, you will join our inside telesales (not telemarketing) team. After a short training period, you will "own" the Mid-Atlantic territory, which includes all of Maryland and Delaware, the western two-thirds of Pennsylvania, and four to five counties in northern Virginia. Your core areas of focus are threefold:- Account acquisition; consistently netting new dealership accounts.
- Account expansion; up-selling services and programs.
- Partnering with and mentoring your counterparts in the field to meet and surpass sales objectives.
This is a 40 hour work week, office-based position and you'll be spending most of your time on the phone: about 70% with our telesales customers and the remaining 30% with partners and your team counterparts expanding relations. Specifically, your responsibilities are to:
- Work independently and with teammates to meet your monthly quota.
- Contact existing dealerships and cold call new dealerships to create interest in coming aboard for a variety of programs.
- Consult General Mangers and Internet Managers in customizing a program that will address their needs.
- Nurture and care for existing accounts, maximizing the highest possible ROI for the dealership.
- Create urgency for dealers to sign-up on our programs in a timely manner.
