We recently expanded our Corporate Accounting function to include a new Revenue Accounting department. We are looking for a Senior Cost of Revenue Accountant to help us shape this department while ensuring that the direct and indirect costs associated with our service revenue are recorded and reported completely, accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with GAAP and internal disclosure criteria.

Our Requirements
5+ years related experience in public accounting and private industry.
Ability to understand and synthesize technical accounting standards.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial and inventory data and reports and to effectively present information in a concise manner to all levels of management.
Proven ability to work with financial concepts including financial analysis and applying concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
High level reasoning ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and to draw valid conclusions involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Proficiency in PC based software/windows applications such as Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
Experience using a client-based accounting system.
A high level of integrity.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
Preferred, but not required:
CPA license.
Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley Section 404 compliance regulations.
Experience using Great Plains Dynamics.

More About Your Role
As Senior Accountant for Cost of Revenue, you will report to the Manager of Revenue Accounting and assume responsibility for:
Ensuring that accounting transactions for cost of revenue are recorded in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Sarbanes-Oxley section 404.
All cost of revenue reporting and analysis for Program Fee and Website Advertising lines of business including accruals, re-accruals and re-allocation of cost of revenue by legal entity.
Review and approval of affiliate (vendor) contract terms on the List of Active Affiliates (LOAA) against the executed contract to ensure completeness and accuracy of data.
"Budget Sheet" generation which supports the monthly accrual.
"Control List" generation which supports the month-over-month spend analysis of the cost of revenue for affiliates (cpm), search engine (cpa) and media buys (cpc).
Generation and review of "Provider Payment Forms" (PPF) against the "Budget Sheet" to ensure completeness and accuracy of data. Approval routing of PPFs and transmission to Accounts Payable.
Assisting with the month-end and year-end close process for cost of revenue, including research and analysis of month-over-month, quarter-over-quarter and year-over-year variances for Program Fee and Website Advertising.
Developing and maintaining models to calculate, analyze and support complex cost of revenue transactions.
You may also contribute to special projects as they arise, such as auditor requests and process improvement initiatives.
